Paris, France: Kraft Foods has contracted Stef to distribute Kraft’s Philadelphia cooking and spread cheese in France. Stef already has the contract for Italy.
Under the new contract, the French downstream transportation operations and related logistics services – reception, storage, order picking – will be handled at Staf’s site in Bondoufle, south of Paris, the group’s largest logistics site for fresh produce.
The Bondoufle site receives the goods from the German Fallingbostel factory. Storage and order picking of eight Philadelphia products and co-packing operations take place in a temperature-controlled conditions at 2 °C to 4°C.
Stef handles outbound transport from its Bondoufle site to retailers’ within 24 to 48 hours. Stef is responsible for managing the relationship with retailers on behalf of Kraft with orders fed directly to the Kraft server on the STEF Bondoufle site.
