Accellos launches cloud warehouse management system

Colorado Springs, CO, US: Accellos has launched its AccellosOne warehouse management system in a cloud deployment option.  The platform offers warehouse management capability in a hosted model using enterprise cloud technology.

Key features of AccellosOne Cloud warehouse management system include flexible subscription pricing, technical administration such as backup, disaster recovery and system availability monitoring provided by Accellos, software updates included as part of the service, elastic computing resources, the ability to personalise systems to meet the needs of specific distribution centres and standard integration to many accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) packages, including Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, and SAP BusinessOne.

“A historic number of small and midsized businesses are turning to cloud software applications to support their operations because of the flexible pricing, speed of deployment and simplicity it brings the IT team,” said Chad Collins, Accellos chief marketing officer.  “We expect this deployment option will allow even more SMBs [small and midsize businesses] to take advantage of full-featured WMS.”

The AccellosOne Cloud WMS contains features designed to ensure efficient performance of distribution centres, including inbound order processing, inventory control, optimised tasking, wave planning and outbound order fulfilment.  Additional modules from the AccellosOne platform can be added to the AccellosOne Cloud WMS, including dock door scheduling, supply chain business intelligence, document management and third-party logistics (3PL) billing.

“The AccellosOne platform is perfectly suited for operating in an enterprise cloud due to the rich user interface which runs in a Web browser and the inherent multitenancy of the platform,” said Ross Elliott, Accellos chief technology officer.  “Additionally, our ERP connectors are available to ensure seamless communication between the WMS and ERP even if the ERP is deployed on-premise. ”

The company also announced that it has made AccellosOne electronic data interchange (EDI) for Microsoft Dynamics GP and AccellosOne Collect for Microsoft Dynamics GP available in Data Resolutions’ enterprise cloud.  This allows customers to run their ERP, EDI and bar-coding solutions in a single cloud environment.  The EDI and bar-coding solutions are available for sale through a network of VARs who provide the software, hosting and support for a single subscription fee.

Similar to the EDI product, AccellosOne Collect for Microsoft Dynamics GP was built and integrated specifically for companies running Microsoft Dynamics GP as a single, embedded system.  AccellosOne Collect for Microsoft Dynamics GP enables companies with manufacturing and distribution needs to automate their manual warehouse processes, while providing the user with real-time information to keep track of inventory.
