Cooltrax real-time tracking and monitoring

Nashua, NH, US: Cooltrax has launched FreshMobile, the mobile site for Fresh inTransit, which allows customers to access their real-time reefer temperature monitoring system from virtually any location on a mobile device.

Fresh inTransit tracks the location of refrigerated trailers and reefers, monitors all aspects of the performance of the fridge unit, and offers independent reefer temperature monitoring using combined telemetry and wireless technologies. The mobility of today’s workforce requires “on the go” access to information. FreshMobile extends access to vital cold chain information for improved operational efficiencies.

“The addition of FreshMobile is in response to customers’ demands, especially fleet managers who are on the go and spend limited time at a desk, for mobile access to the Fresh inTransit cloud-based system,” said Shawn Allaway, president, Cooltrax.

“With the continued demand for operational efficiencies and better cold chain management — supply chain failure, non-compliance, product security and theft, and bioterrorism — it’s only fitting that customers have immediate access 24/7 to cold chain data and information. FreshMobile now ensures that our customers, regardless of device, can access the industry’s most robust solution for tracking and monitoring products and assets moving through the cold chain.”

With Fresh inTransit, real-time temperature, fridge performance and location information for any number of assets can be viewed securely through a single, web-based interface via personal and laptop computer. According to Josef Bortignon, operations manager, Cooltrax, “With the addition of FreshMobile, which optimizes the Fresh inTransit system for mobile access, users gain expanded access to critical data, 24/7, from anywhere in the world, regardless of device. FreshMobile supports multiple mobile browser platforms including Safari, Opera, and Android. Planned support for Fresh inStore will be available in the future, as well.”

The Fresh inTransit system provides immediate reporting via SMS and/or email of temperature and other performance violations, which enable pro-active cold chain management. Detailed graphs and reports are available to provide an intuitive record of historical information. Fresh inTransit supports various full browsers including IE9, Chrome, and Firefox.
