Envirotainer adds RAP e2 xapacity in Luxembourg

Luxembourg: Envirotainer has opened a new station in Luxembourg to offer its certified air cargo unit load device (RAP e2) to meet the growing demand for secure, temperature-controlled pharma transport services.

Niklas Lönnkvist, head of healthcare sales EMEA at Envirotainer said:  “I am very happy to announce the opening of our new RAP e2 station in Luxembourg. It will significantly increase our ability to service our customers from the seventh largest airfreight location in Europe.

“We are always looking at how we can meet the needs of our pharma customers as they expand their footprint around the world. The new facility is well located in an airport with daily flights to six continents to support the ever-growing needs of pharma companies in Europe.”

Designed for the most extreme requirements of the healthcare industry, the RAP e2 container maintains product temperatures between ±0 and +25°C in nearly any ambient condition appearing along shipping routes globally.

Drawing on the benefits of the established and proven Envirotainer electrical heating and cooling technology, the RAP e2 features a container shell with a completely new design and superior insulation performance, allowing for the most temperature-stable shipments regardless of the ambient conditions.

The unit can be carried on board the most common wide-body aircraft types.
