The refurbishment, scheduled for completion this spring, includes an additional 8,800m² hard standing to park up to 100 trailers, a car park extension and canteen. The warehouse upgrade includes extension of racking and consolidation capacity with new walls, ceilings and the installation of a one-piece floor.

LED lighting reduces carbon emissions and Quadcore wall panels offer the best thermal performance in the industry and improved environmental performance.

A new ‘Welfare Building’, at 328m² includes changing rooms, pool tables, a fully equipped rest area.

We have listened to suggestions from across the depot of how to improve, responded accordingly and will deliver a modern and well-equipped area to take a load off and catch up with colleagues.”
