Fowler Welch recruits former NFT Distribution director

Spalding, Lincolnshire, UK: Fowler Welch has appointed Dale Fiddy, who has moved from NFT Distribution, to the new role of strategic development director.

This role will initially focus on developing the significant benefits for food manufacturers and retailers in working in a truly collaborative environment such as the partnership between Fowler Welch and Dairy Crest at its fully automated national distribution centre at Nuneaton in the Midlands.

In addition to developing solutions for new partnerships, Dale will also bring a wealth of experience across all areas of the business. With 30 years’ experience Dale is a highly skilled professional in the logistics and supply chain industry, having held a number of senior roles with NFT, including sales and marketing director, and Culina across logistics, commercial and supply chain development.

Nick Hay, chief executive of Fowler Welch, said: “Dale brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and a strong network of contacts across the sector. Most importantly Dale brings to the business a fresh perspective and we are very positive that he will continue to build on Fowler Welch’s successes.”

Fiddy added: “I am delighted to have joined such an experienced and motivated team here at Fowler Welch and look forward to developing the sales sector alongside them with a number of new initiatives. The business has achieved some great successes for customers in recent years and I look forward to building on these with the team, showing potential customers what we can do for them and working together to create an environment for success.”

Dale joined the company in his new role on 6 June.
