Fowler Welch wins contract with Lees

Heywood, UK: Fowler Welch has won a contract based at its Heywood depot from Lees of Scotland which makes branded confectionery and meringues,

Fowler Welch will hande Lees’ UK’s core distribution delivering over 60,000 pallets a year.

Fowler Welch started the new contract in April 2017. “Fowler Welch took the brief from Lees of Scotland and delivered a range of services under one roof in a centralised location that will simplify Lees’ supply chain and support the business in maintaining overall efficiency,” Fowler Welch says.

Steven Purves, supply chain director, Lees of Scotland, said: “Fowler Welch were identified as a well-respected ambient logistics provider, known for good relationships with major retailers and an excellent location at Heywood which was well positioned to service Lees customers.
