Hanwell smart app for monitoring

Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK: Hanwell Solutions has launched a smart app for critical environment alerts.

The app is an add on to the hardware/software combination of Hanwell’s EMS platform, Hanwell Pro and Hanwell IceSpy, providing a visual for multiple users on the go.

“Centralised environmental monitoring such as this is vital to avoid spoilage for sectors such as food, pharmaceuticals and healthcare. The accuracy and flexibility of environmental management provided by Hanwell potentially saves users a fortune in spoiled products by instantly warning of compromised conditions,” the company says.

“While the Hanwell EMS browser-based user interface works in the background with easy to navigate and interactive tools for analysis and immediate alarm notification, the app provides a quick and vital overview for users that are without access to networked software. App features also include interactive graphs, tables and plan views for improved data analysis, as well as management of user access levels through customisable groups. In the appropriate applications, the app can also be used as an alternative to SMS alerts currently available through other Hanwell hardware.”

Ian Robinson, chief executive, Hanwell, said: “There have been suggestions that people are becoming too addicted to their smartphones, however this is one case where your phone or tablet could save you a fortune in spoiled products by warning you wherever you are if conditions are compromised.

“Our hardware has been future-proofed to accept new applications like the app so that we can not only keep pace with the times but stay well ahead of them. We are proud of our unrivalled reputation for drive and innovation – backed by reliable, robust and technologically superior products manufactured in the UK, and our app is yet another example of how we are meeting demand for instantaneous and far-reaching data access and control across multiple market sectors.”

The EMS Alarms app is the latest addition to Hanwell’s range of environmental monitoring solutions, providing all-round control of current and historical data, invaluable in the event of an industry audit or inspection by any of the authorities including MHRA, CQC, FSA, GMP or GDP.
