Isotrak and PCL extend contract

Northampton, UK: Fleet management and telematics company Isotrak has renewed its partnership with chilled distribution firm PCL, part of the Bidcorp Group, for a further two years.

Since implementing Isotrak’s Job Management system and CANbus five years ago, PCL says it has improved its fleet operations with real-time visibility of timed deliveries and collections, resulting in better customer service.

PCL runs 250 HGV vehicles and 300 temperature-controlled fridge trailers from four depots, handling the timed transport of dairy and salad products. Real-time job tracking enables PCL to provide accurate delivery status to their customers, including Arla Foods.

Stuart Frith, head of operations at PCL said: “Isotrak’s renewed focus and commitment to service delivery is impressive. There has been a step change in the way we are working together, meaning we’re able to convert the benefits into better results for our own customers.”

Isotrak Group chairman Jim Sumner, said: “While we will continue to provide quality products that match their needs, our aim is to work with PCL and fully support them in surpassing their customers’ expectations.”
