Kuehne+Nagel buys 50 trailers for pharma logistics services

Luxembourg: Kuehne+Nagel has bought 50 temperature-controlled trailers as part of plans to expand its pharma logistics services in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The trailers guarantee temperature control at all times through new built-in discharge air control and’ precision temperature control’ technology. This protects the cargo from any temperature deviation.

With temperature accuracy improvement, the set point bandwidth has been reduced by 80% and the temperature sensitivity control has been improved in the remote zone of the trailer. It reduces the risk of pharmaceutical products being damaged by frost.

“We are committed to investing in best-in-class equipment to ensure our customers’ products arrive at their destination safe and completely intact through shipping fully compliant according to temperature guidelines,” said Kevin Nash, managing director, Kuehne+Nagel Belgium & Luxembourg.

“The expansion further solidifies KN PharmaChain as a leading pharma logistics service in Europe and as part of our global network.”
