Last chance to get to the CV Show

Birmingham. UK: Today is the final day of the CV Show which closes today at 5.30p.  Top attractions at the show are Mercedes-Benz all-new Euro VI Actros, the first UK view of the truck that has cost  €1bn to develop.

Other show highlights include Roadload’s  production version of its U-tail chassis with demountable swap body available as a fridge version. The U-tail has a twin boom chassis on a Peugeot Boxer front-wheel-drive cab able to carry a fridge box or similar,  that can be dropped at stores and powered independently.

Isuzu Truck (UK) is showing I-Vision, its new range of telematics products and services for its vehicles and operators. The telematics system for fleets has been tried and tested in Japan.

Bob Sockll, show organiser says: “Day one of the CV Show and Workshop opened to a resounding cheer as Ford and Vauxhall launched their new LCV ranges, while Mercedes Benz and MAN showcased their latest eco friendly vehicles.

“Waiting to greet many thousands of visitors were over 420 exhibitors offering solutions to every problem a transport operator can expect to experience.  The Show is proving true to its original objective, to help operators select vehicles and run them at their most productive and profitable.

“With the accent on keeping the wheels turning, carrying the optimum load and going in the right direction, thousands of visitors left the show with a host of new ideas for improvement,”  Sockll says.

Entry to the show is free with tickets and registration details available online at www.cvshow.com.
