Reed Boardall takes 30 more G&A reefers

Boroughbridge, Yorkshire, UK: Reed Boardall has acquired another 30 bespoke refrigerated trailers as part of an upgrade of its 300 trailer fleet. The order is valued at £2m.

Reed has ordered twenty three, 3.6m tri axle trailers single deck trailers plus seven double deck trailers Gray & Adams. All the trailers are bespoke to to Reed Boardall specifications for particular customers.

The new trailers have Carrier Vector 1550 or 1950 fridges and satellite tracking. The double deck trailers have super single 445 wheels and tyres.

Graeme Richardson, managing director, Reed Boardall transport division, pictured left with Andrew Brown, sales director Doncaster, Gray & Adams, says: “These latest trailers feature improved aerodynamics and load fill, giving them a stronger profile to deliver customers’ loads.

“We are already planning to order more trailers from Gray & Adams next year.”
