RHA publishes new guidance on no-deal Brexit

Peterborough, UK: The Road Haulage Association has published guidance for UK hauliers on international permits and customs procedures when preparing for a no-deal Brexit scenario.

The advice covers action that must be taken now when it comes to European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) permits. It also includes information on customs procedures.

The Road Haulage Association says: “Haulage operators, their staff and their customers will have to make significant changes to working practices in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

These changes will have to be undertaken very quickly and in a complicated and rapidly changing environment.

“To support members, over the coming months the RHA [Road Haulage Association] will be publishing guidelines as it becomes more apparent as to what actions need to be taken and when.”
