Coviran opens temperature-controlled warehouse

Sabadell, Catalonia, Spain: Spanish food distribution cooperative Coviran has opened a new distribution centre in Sabadell dedicated to fresh, chilled, and frozen products.

It will complement the operation of its distribution platform in Barberá del Vallés in Catalonia.

The new distribution centre will help the cooperative to increase its capacity to meet the needs of independent retailers in the region, in the fresh produce sector.

Coviran has invested €2m in the new distribution centre, which is built on a 5,000 sq metre plot.

The distributor now has 30 logistics centres in Spain and Portugal.
