Steven Plant is FSDF 2018 Future Leader

London, UK: Steven Plant, head of operations at Grocontinental, has won the Food Storage & Distribution Federation 2018 Future Leader competition.

He will accompany Chris Sturman, chief executive, Food Storage & Distribution Federation, to the International Association of Refrigerated Warehouses and World Food Logistics Organisation convention in Florida, USA at the end of April.

Sturman said, “Attending the IARW/WFLO convention in April will give Steven the opportunity to meet not only his peers from other countries, but also network with veterans of the industry and gain a greater understanding of the temperature controlled food supply chain on a global scale. Previous winners have found this to be an invaluable experience and enhancement to their career prospects.”

Steven will be formally presented with his award at the association’s annual lunch on 24 May at Fishmonger’s Hall, London.
