CR England Awarded Cold Chain Carrier Of The Year Award

Salt Lake City, UT, US: CR England has received the Chiquita Cold Chain Carrier of the Year Award. The Cold Chain Carrier of the Year Award selects a carrier each year that provides Chiquita with exemplary temperature-controlled carrier services. Chiquita Brands International is a leading international marketer and distributor of high-quality fresh and value-added food products.

“We are honored to receive this distinction from Chiquita,” said Mike Bunnell, chief sales Officer, CR England. ”Chiquita is a customer that relies on quality temperature-controlled services to deliver the freshest products, and we are proud to standout among other carriers.”

The Chiquita Cold Chain Carrier of the Year Award is awarded based on performance in temperature-controlled services and takes into account number of shipments between August 2010 and July 2011 and the efficiency of refrigerated loads. The award takes into account every load shipped and selects the best cold chain performance for raw and fresh products.

“Protecting our cold chain is something we are extremely passionate about at Chiquita, and we take great care in selecting a recipient for this award,” said Josh Vipperman, transportation manager, Chiquita. ”C.R. England’s focus in delivering cold chain excellence this past year has been outstanding and helped to produce a higher quality experience for our customers.”
