Accurate temperature control wins Marshall refrigeration kit and servicing contract

Cambridge, UK: Pharmaceutical distribution and storage company Polar Speed Thermologistics has awarded Marshall Fleet Solutions a contract to provide refrigeration  equipment and servicing.  Five Thermo King V200 Max TC 50 systems and three V300 Max TC50 systems are being supplied by Cambridge-based Marshall for fitting into design-specific dual compartment vehicles.

Highly accurate temperature control was one of the main reasons that Polar Speed selected the Thermo King range. Brian McKay, director of supply chain at Polar Speed says: “Polar Speed are presently the only UK healthcare logistics company to offer a dual temperature service with a market leading temperate 15/25°c side chamber for the transportation of ambient products. This innovation, developed in partnership with Marshall Fleet Solutions helped secure total temperature compliance across Polar Speed’s supply chain during the artic conditions experienced last winter which was a major operating benefit for its clients.”

Marshall Fleet Solutions is also providing a 24/7 back-up service nationally to Polar Speed via its Fleet Management system.
