Americold opens new facility in Louisiana

Delhi, Louisiana: Americold has opened a new temperature-controlled storage facility in Delhi, Louisiana. It provides 4.7m cubic feet of convertible temperature-controlled storage space dedicated to the adjacent ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston sweet potato processing facility.

Jos Opdeweegh, chief executive of Americold says: “The Delhi facility is symbolic of our partnership with Lamb Weston and our commitment to achieving mutually beneficial relationships with our customers that meet the needs of their growing businesses.”

Gary Cuddeford, vice president of operations, ConAgra Foods Lamb Weston says:  “This new, efficient Americold storage facility will help us meet our customers’ needs for quality sweet potato products, year-round.”
