Bristol food distribution shake-up

Bristol, UK: Bristol firm Good Morning Disposables has been bought by nearby company Charles Saunders which specialises in distributing fresh and frozen foods.

The Good Morning operations distribute dry and chilled food, and disposable items such as tableware and cutlery, to restaurants, office canteens, universities, and schools across the city.

Jonathan Williams, head of corporate finance at South West accountants Bishop Fleming, advised on the sale. He told the local press: “Having worked with the owners of Good Morning Disposables for some 15 years, we are delighted to have helped engineer such a perfect match that will see the combined business retaining both companies’ existing sites in Bristol, and create a major region-wide food distribution force.”

“This deal made for a perfect fit, especially as both businesses are located so close together, with a combined workforce of more than 100.”
