Buffaload Logistics team in a 54 mile yomp for ABF the Soldiers’ Charity

Cambridge, UK: Buffaload’s main charity event this year will be the Cateran Yomp, for which all the funds raised go to ABF the Soldiers’ Charity.

The yomp (a military term for a long-distance march) is the biggest, toughest event of its kind. It takes place on the 8-9 June in the foothills of the Cairngorm Mountains in Perthshire, when teams will battle through 54 miles in 24 hours across the rugged terrain of the Scottish wilderness.

Buffaload is in the Employer Recognition Scheme, part of the Armed Forces Covenant which the company joined last year. The Employer Recognition Scheme acknowledges employers that have provided exceptional support to the armed forces going above and beyond the Covenant pledge.
