Carrier Transicold UK Introduces 150-point safety review

Warrington, UK: Carrier Transicold UK has launched a 150-point assurance review programme to reinforce health and safety best practices in its UK service partner network.

The review process, Carrier Safe,  has been developed in conjunction with the Engineering Employers’ Federation (EEF), an organisation that supports the manufacturing and engineering industries with professional training and advice services.

As part of the new appraisals, the EEF will carry out independent annual reviews of all UK service partners on behalf of Carrier Transicold. The reviews will be based on a comprehensive set of criteria covering everything from Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies to waste management systems.

“Health and safety is a key focus for Carrier Transicold, both as a manufacturer and as an employer,” said Ross Thomson, network operations manager, Carrier Transicold UK.

“Carrier Safe further raises the bar in our health and safety programme and helps to better protect our customers’ businesses. “This is an opportunity to record where we are as an organisation and to ensure that all elements of the business are supported,” says Thomson.
