Continental Express plans 20 vehicle fleet expansion

Waltham Cross, UK: Continental Express is to add twenty new refrigerated trailers to its 50 strong, dual compartment, trailer fleet.

The new trailers will have with Thermo King SLX200 refrigeration units and be maintained on a contract with Marshall Fleet Solutions.   Sammy Turone, managing director of Continental Express, signed the contract with Marshall Fleet Solutions’ at Commercial Vehicle show.

Marshall Fleet Solutions has provided support and maintenance services for over fifteen years for Continental Express continues to provide a seamless and efficient service to its customers across the UK and Europe with its large fleet of dual compartment trailers, which distribute frozen/chilled and ambient goods.

Continental distributes frozen/chilled and ambient goods in the UK, Europe and North Africa.

Twenty new Continental Express refrigerated trailers coming into service shortly to be supported and maintained by Marshall Fleet Solutions

Turone said:  “There is much competition for this type of maintenance contract; Marshall Fleet Solutions won it because we were confident, based on experience, that they will meet our demands.”

“This contract is a real vote of confidence in our engineers,’ said Andrew Howells, managing director, Marshall Fleet Solutions.

“Their enthusiasm and energy is key to us delivering the service that Continental Express needs for its UK and Europe distribution service.”
