CoolKit and Hodgson seal gap

Burnley, Lancashire, UK: CoolKit is working with supplier Hodgson Sealants to improve the quality of materials used in its conversions.

Manufacturer Hodgson Sealants has developed its product range by adding antimicrobial technology provided by BioCote.

Marc Rampling from Hodgson Sealants, said: “Whilst many products focus on their powerful performance against bacteria, the BioCote technology contained in our HS30 sealant also has a proven record against a wide range of microbes, such as mould, fungi and even some viruses.

“Hodgson Sealants is delighted that CoolKit have chosen to enhance hygiene within their conversions by incorporating our pioneering hybrid sealant, which now offers proven permanent antimicrobial protection up to 99.99% against an extensive list of microbes.”

Alicia Threlfall, operations manager at CoolKit, said: “As industry-leaders we are always on the look-out for the little details that will keep us ahead of the competition. We have customers within the pharmaceuticals, foodservice, catering and analytical testing industries, and it is of paramount importance that our conversions remain mould free with as little maintenance as possible.
