Excargo Services opens new container terminal

Orange, TX, US: Excargo Services has opened a new container terminal in Orange, Texas to handle time-sensitive, high-value cargo.

Marcia Faschingbauer, president and founder of Excargo, says: “From our base in Houston, we transport more than 25,000 containers per year across the South. We haul temperature-controlled containers, from frozen to refrigerated, and have had that expertise for two decades,” she said.

“Many drayage (haulage) firms shy from handling temperature-controlled containers, but Excargo specializes in handling service-sensitive cargo,” Faschingbauer says.

The Orange terminal can accommodate 10,000 containers annually or more stacked.

Excargo has been hauling goods to and from the Port of Houston and area rail terminals for international and intermodal shippers for more than 30 years. It also provides logistics and warehouse services for some of America’s most service-sensitive companies.
