Food Logistics magazine names top transport and warehousing firms

Melville, NY, US: Food Logistics magazine has published its annual list of the top 100 third-party logistics and cold storage providers.

Food Logistics’ list highlights the providers that offer a broad scope of services and capabilities that enable food companies to manage costs, increase flexibility and improve service levels. WOW Logistics has been recognized for the sixth consecutive year. Ryder was selected for the fourth consecutive year. Cardinal Logistics Management also made the list.

“Food distribution is a very complex business, and 3PLs play a crucial role in the supply chain,” says Katherine Doherty, editor-in-chief of Food Logistics magazine. “While most 3PLs have felt the effects of the economic downturn, the Top 100 continue to respond to their customers’ needs and rise to the logistical challenges that today’s food organizations face.”
