Grocontinental to handle cheese distribution for First Milk

Wrexham, UK: Grocontinental has planning permission for a warehouse on First Milk’s planned cheese packing site at Maelor.

Wrexham Borough Council’s planning committee has approved First Milk’s application to redevelop its cheese-packing site at Maelor.  The co-op’s plan is to create a “UK centre of excellence” for cheese packing and storage.

Grocontinental will house all of First Milk’s maturing cheese on the site.  Work on the £17m development is scheduled for completion in the autumn of next year.
