Industry gathers in Mumbai for Cold Chain Show 2019

Goregaon East, Mumbai, India: The India Cold Chain Show, which connects cold storage owners, end users, service providers and logistics professionals, takes place on 4-6 December 2019 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon East in Mumbai.

Nuj Mathur, chief operating officer, Reed Exhibitions India said: “The Indian cold chain industry has been showing tremendous growth and promises to grow further. Keeping that in mind, the 2019 edition of India Cold Chain Show has been reinvented to give impetus, create a perfect business platform as well as target niche buyers from the pharmaceutical, dairy, food processing and meat industries. India’s cold chain market is expected to reach INR 2,618 Billion by 2024, growing at a CAGR of 14.8% during 2019-2024 according to Research and Markets. Major factors driving the growth in the cold chain industry are the rise in awareness of healthier living leading to the increased consumption of fruits and vegetables; growth in food retail; and increasing demand from the pharmaceutical sector.
