Infitrak buys ValiSense

Ontario, Canada: Infitrak has acquired Valisense, a cold chain service provider for pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution.

Infitrak provides monitoring solutions to cold chain and highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals. The acquisition of ValiSense allows Infitrak to provide a wider range of products and services providing a single, integrated approach to product and service delivery.

Alan Ruth, chairman, Infitrak says: “Product and service provision within highly regulated industries has typically been fragmented, requiring the hiring of multiple companies to satisfy a complete range of Regulatory and Compliance requirements.

“With the acquisition of ValiSense, and the installation of Jean Bedard as a shareholder and president and chief executive, Infitrak is looking forward to providing its customers with a ‘one-stop’ shop that will satisfy their complete product and service needs under one roof,” Ruth says.

Jean Bédard, president and chief executive, Infitrak says: “Infitrak is a well-run company with strong brands in the monitoring market. Because our products are complementary, we’ll go to market with one of the broadest offerings in the industry.

“That creates strong growth opportunities, and gives customers one-stop access to one of the widest ranges of products and services for cold chain management and good distribution practices.”
