Isuzu debuts new Grafter at TCS&D Show

Peterborough, UK: Isuzu Truck UK is making its first ever appearance at the TCS&D Show this month with a show debut for the 3.5 tonne Grafter Green 4 x 2 rigid.

The truck has a Paneltex twin compartment insulated body with GAH direct drive fridge.

Richard Waterworth, head of sales, Isuzu Truck UK, said, “Isuzu has always had a strong presence in the temperature-controlled marketplace with its 7.5 tonne to 13 tonne GVW truck range, however the launch of the lighter weight Grafter Green last year has opened up an even wider market potential for us in the local urban delivery market.”

The display truck has a 11ft body with triple rear insulated doors that open 270°, a single nearside insulated door opening 180°, insulated moveable bulkhead, GAH direct drive fridge with single phase standby.

“We are anticipating considerable interest in the Grafter Green at the show as not only has the truck been designed specifically to cover increasingly popular urban applications from -18° C to +4° C, but also this particular Grafter offers operators an unbeatable 963kg payload,” Waterworth said.

Also on display at the TCS&D Show will be examples of the Paneltex range of electric trucks that have been built around the Isuzu Truck 7.5 tonne chassis and these will be featured on both the Paneltex stand and the Ride and Drive area.

There’s nearly a tonne payload on this Isuzu 3.5 tonne Grafter Green with Paneltex twin compartment insulated body.
