Kerry Foods Direct to Store signs up for GreenRoad

Swindon, UK: Kerry Foods Direct to Store has chosen GreenRoad, a company specialising in driver performance and safety management, to make its 3.5 tonne temperature-controlled van fleeet safer and more efficient.

Andrew Redstone, operations director, Kerry Foods Direct to Store, said: “We chose GreenRoad because it offers the latest in technology innovation as well as engaging with the driver and providing constant coaching in the cab.

“Our drivers serve as sales representatives and they have a wealth of sector and product knowledge. Given the responsibility they have representing the KFDTS brand, we believe it is appropriate that GreenRoad also gives the drivers responsibility for their driving performance. This way they remain in control of their destiny.”

Kerry Foods operates two national refrigerated distribution centres in Manchester and Swindon feeding 34 regional distribution centres with delivery by 425 refrigerated vans.
