Kinetic-energy powered fridge partnership

Lakeland, FL, US: Emerald Technology Partners has joined forces with Tampa Armature Works to develop the Wedway Refrigeration Power System.

The Wedway provides power to operate a refrigerator or freezer unit on a refrigerated trailer by capturing the kinetic energy from the rotation of the trailer wheels and converting it to a power source for refrigeration.

Tampa Armature Works test and develops generators  and serves markets in the United States, Central, South America and the Caribbean.

Emerald predicts massive savings for operators in energy costs and reduced co2 emissions from the new system says Brian Arnold, director, Emerald Technology Partners.

Emerald Technology Partners is a green technology company developing products that will help lower the dependence of fossil fuels and the costs associated with using fuels, economically and environmentally.
