Langdons opens Redditch depot

Redditch, UK: Chilled and ambient logistics service provider Langdon Group has opened a £9m depot in Redditch, replacing its existing West Midlands facilities.

The purpose-built Studley Road site has 5,000 frozen and chilled pallets capacity and 16 loading bays. Langdons has eight UK depots,

Arran Osman, managing director Langdons, says “Our depot at Heming Road has served us well for seven years, but we have known for some time that the throughput capacity restraints at that site could not be addressed and so we had to seek a new solution.

“As a location for our midlands depot, Redditch has proved very satisfactory and so I am delighted that we are staying in the town.”
