Millard Refrigerated Services to build South Carolina plant

Columbia, SC, US: Millard Refrigerated Services is to build a new cold storage and distribution site in Charleston County. The $42m plant will freeze and store poultry, pork and beef products that will be exported to foreign markets.

Lance Larsen, president and chief executive, Millard Refrigerated Services, says: “The facility will give us access to the world-class port in Charleston and provide an efficient hub for our customers along the East Coast and throughout the Southeast.

Millard Refrigerated Services is family owned and operated serving north America through 36 regional depots. It is the second-largest refrigerated warehouse and distribution company in the United States.
