Newbridge, Co Kildare, Ireland: Newbridge Foods has added five Mitsubishi forklifts to its fleet to meet handling needs in the chill room and loading dock.

Irish Mitsubishi distributor Henley Forklift provided two electric counterbalance trucks and three, powered, pedestrian pallet trucks supplied on a five-year contract. Both models suit food and other hygienic applications with sealed systems to guard against pollution and allow cleaning.

The counterbalance trucks features include wet disc brakes as standard. John Smith, head of production, Newbridge Foods, says: “We needed trucks that were compact enough to turn in our small spaces.  And of course we wanted a good price.” All the trucks have the optional cold store specification.
