Nicola Ridges-Jones is new chair of UKWA

London, UK: Nicola Ridges-Jones, managing director of MS Holdings (South) is the new chair of the United Kingdom Warehousing Association.
She replaces Graeme Undy who has been chair since 2016.

Ridges-Jones said: “There’s a great deal to do as the industry continues to change at a rapid rate. Logistics and warehousing represent the new face of retail as consumers purchase more goods online.

“We’re going to need more warehousing and more people, but we’re going to have to think in a different way, taking into consideration environmental factors, shopping trends and digital developments.”
