Norbert to build refrigerated warehouse in Belgium

Zellik, Belgium: Norbert Dentressangle has taken on Swisslog to design and build a €21m (US$29m) refrigerated high-bay warehouse in Zellik, Belgium.

The new warehouse, adjacent to Norbert’s existing plant near Brussels, will handle frozen food (-25°C) and serve as a multi-client warehouse.

Swisslog is to design and build the new facility providing materials-handling equipment and will implement its own software and warehouse control system including the picking platform. The warehouse is expected to be operational by mid-2012.
