Oakland International appoints general manager at Corby

Corby, UK: Mark Cartlidge is the new general manager of Oakland International’s Corby depot.

This is a new role that follows expansion of Corby’s chilled and freezer operation.

Cartlidge, who was previously senior operations manager for Morrisons, said: “My immediate push is to improve communication throughout Corby and ensure that this filters through to our customers and partners by being proactive and delivering information and data so that everyone can do their job. Long term, to drive new contracts and run Corby efficiently, whilst creating a chain of progression to enable colleagues from all levels to progress and improve.”

Lee Whiting, business unit director Corby, Oakland International, said: “I am delighted to welcome Mark to our growing Corby team. His drive and experience will be a major asset to our business operations going forward.”
