Oakland International Ireland finalist in the Checkout National FMCG Awards

Ashbourne, Co Meath, Ireland: Oakland International, a multi temperature supply chain specialist in logistics and warehousing, has been selected as a finalist in the Best Logistics Category at this year’s Checkout National FMCG Awards 2011 to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin, on Friday 21st October.

Held in association with The Irish Daily Mail, all finalists were chosen following consultations with the panel of judges which included marketeers and a selection of some of Ireland’s best retailers.

Mark Caffrey, joint managing director, Oakland International Ireland said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen as a finalist in the Best Logistics category. It is fantastic news for our Ireland team and positive testament of the strong logistics service we offer.”

Oakland International provides multi-temperature distribution for food and consumer goods and in 2009 launching  its Irish warehousing and distribution operation in Ashbourne, County Meath, in partnership with Mark Caffrey of Brian Caffrey International.
