Paul Kavanagh joins Bibby Distribution

Liverpool, UK: Bibby Distribution has appointed Paul Kavanagh as chief operating officer reporting to Iain Speak, the chief executive.

Kavanagh joins the company following four years with Peel Ports Group as managing director of its Medway division. Previously he held senior positions with NYK Logistics, Christian Salvesen and P&O Ferrymasters.

Iain Speak said: “With full responsibility for the company’s UK operations, Paul’s primary focus will be to build upon recent successes and facilitate business growth via existing and new customers.”

“Paul has the skills and experience to strategically develop and implement new services offered by the company, and I am confident that he will add real strength to the current executive team at Bibby Distribution.”

Kavanagh will be based at the company’s Duke Street head office in Liverpool.
