South India to build logistics parks

Bhubaneswar, South India: The state government has taken steps to develop logistics parks, which include cold storage, in different parts of Odisha.

The proposed logistics parks will be set up in major industrial hubs like Rourkela, Paradip, Kalinganagar, Jharsuguda, Angul and Dhamra.

The parks will have facilities such as cold storage, warehouses, distribution centres, truck terminals and a container rail terminal.

The Commerce and Transport Department will now prepare a model design of the project including identifying suitable sites and shortlisting investors.
