Stef earns BRC certificate

Glasgow, Scotland, UK:  Stef has gained a BRC Storage & Distribution certificate from QA International Certification for its site in Scotland.

Stef Seafood Glasgow offers storage, order preparation and transport services for seafood operating with a 1,800m2 of chilled (+2°C /+4°C) and 5,500 m3 frozen  (-25°C) warehouse.

Marc Drapeau, general manager, Stef Seafood UK, said: “The BRC Storage & Distribution accreditation reflects a proficient team effort.. It strengthens our ability to offer a service which complies with the most rigorous demands of our customers in terms of food regulation.

In 1992, Stef Seafood Glasgow opened its depot with a 1,200 m² capacity refrigerated warehouse. Stef Seafood UK, part of the Paris based Stef Group, has depots in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Newlyn, a chilled capacity of 1,800 m², frozen storage of 5,500 m3 (1050 pallet spaces) and handles 60,000 tonnes cross docked a year.
