Talent in Logistics Awards open

London, UK: Entries are open for the Talent in Logistics Awards 2019.

New categories include Innovation in Recruitment, Excellence in Coaching & Mentoring and Best Place to Work, as well as the Rising Star award which celebrates up and coming talent within the industry.

Ruth Edwards, business manager says: “Our Awards night exists to reward and recognise stand-out individuals, teams and organisations that successfully attract, develop and engage talent, in order to drive the industry forward. For us the magic of our sector is in the people and we want to showcase them for all to see.”

A new live event is the LGV Driver of the Year award, in which any CAT C or CAT C+E drivers can take on a number of interactive challenges. This award consists of online nomination, live heats and a live grand final.

The Forklift Driver of the Year will be back once again, with entrants put through a number of theoretical and rigorous practical tests in the form of heats and a live grand final. This will be held during the 2019 Annual Conference.

Awards entries will be open until 4 March 2019, with the shortlist announced the week beginning 25 March.
