Thermo King is Germany’s best fridge brand in magazine poll

Stuttgart, Germany: Readers of three German transport business magazines have voted Thermo King as the top brand in refrigeration.

More than 8,000 readers, representing Germany’s commercial vehicle professionals, responded to this year’s poll which was organised by three trade magazines: Lastauto Omnibus, Fernfahrer and Trans Aktuell.

Readers were asked to select best brands based in 22 categories. Thermo King maintained is lead position for the eighth consecutive year as the readers’ top choice in the 2012 annual Best Brands poll of readers conducted by Dekra.

Thermo King first topped the poll in 2005 when Dekra extended the survey to cover commercial vehicles.

“We will continue to focus on anticipating and meeting customer needs by providing services that increase operational and energy efficiency,” said Pauli Johanessen, director of Northern Europe for Thermo King, after accepting the award in Stuttgart, Germany.

“We are honoured that commercial vehicle professionals have recognised our efforts and want to thank our sales and service team and our dealers and workshops for the critical roles they play in our success.”
