Thermotraffic buys half share of Kevin Hancock

Newark, UK: Thermotraffic UK has taken a half share of Kevin Hancock.

Both companies provide temperature-controlled logistics. The investment will give Thermotraffic, part of Japan’s Nichirei Group, access to coldstorage.

Kevin Hancock, managing director, Kevin Hancock Ltd, said: “Joining Thermotraffic and the Nichirei Group is great news for us. Now we have an excellent opportunity to take the company into a new and exciting era.”

Kevin Hancock was set up in 2018 by Kevin Hancock who was previously managing director of Rick Bestwick. The business provides blast freezing, up-tempering, co packing, date coding, container loading / unloading, multi-temperature storage and UK and European distribution.

The Thermotraffic Group is part of the Nichirei Corporation in Tokyo. Thermotraffic UK is based in Rainham, Essex and is a branch of Thermotraffic Holland.
