Trakm8 launches small fleet tracking system

Shaftesbury, Dorset, UK: Trakm8 has launched a product for small vehicle fleets.

Trakm8 Go is a simple, low cost tracking system designed to provide location and vehicle route information in real time and as historical reporting.

A web interface shows the vehicles’ current location, the current journey and the associated speed. Trakm8 Go will alert the fleet operator to activity within user defined points of interest and access to historical journey information in a clear and user friendly format. The most popular and useful reports are presented using the easy to define reporting system.

This product uses the Trakm8 T8 mini hardware as the vehicle tracking unit, which is small, rugged and waterproof. It is easy to install and has exceptionally low power consumption so suits trailer or plant asset tracking.

Trakm8 Go is aimed at operators that do not have the management time to assess a large amount of data but needs to know without any difficulty, exactly where their vehicles are and where they have been.

John Watkins, chief executive, Trakm8 says: “Trakm8 is better known for its comprehensive telematics solutions, which provide driver feedback systems and fuel saving products such as Trakm8 Swift and Trakm8 ecoN. We are delighted to introduce Trakm8 Go to address the market for simple, effective and inexpensive Track and Trace telematics.”
