VIA Coldstores gets giant coolers

Scunthorpe, UK: VIA Coldstores has installed four giant stainless steel coolers at its Scunthorpe site, according to Logistics Manager.

The coolers – six-and-a-half metres long and over two metres high – can keep 14,000 pallets of frozen produce at -25°C.
Each unit delivers 188kW of cooling, with a combined capacity of 752kW. Climate Center supplied the units and HF Refrigeration installed them.
