Wincanton corners Müller renewal

Chippenham, UK: Wincanton has renewed its contract with Müller Dairy to collects 230 litres of milk from 50 farms and deliver to the Müller Dairy in Shropshire where the milk is used to produce yoghurts and desserts.

Wincanton employs 24 people on the contract and operates 12 tankers, which it said will be upgraded over the course of the new contract and fitted with technology to improve fleet visibility and performance.

Muller procurement director Hayward Green, said: “As our business develops, we need to ensure that our supply chain operates efficiently and guarantees the quality assurance of our product.

“In Wincanton, we have a true partner with the proven ability to deliver consistently high service levels and the flexibility to meet our changing requirements.”

Wincanton has worked with Müller for 20 years.
