Wireless reefer container monitoring

Addison, TX, US: Identec Solutions and Mark-IT Services have developed a reefer container monitoring system with real-time operational visibility and control, alarm reporting, downloads and the ability to remotely set and change temperature controls before and during trips.

It an be installed in a matter of days without the heavy infrastructure costs of other system the company says. “Terminal operators can better manage reefer containers and also offer it to carriers as a value-added service outside their facilities to track in-transit shipments, it says in a statement.
