World Courier opens Innsbruck office

Innsbruck, Austria: World Courier has opened its latest office in Innsbruck. This is the third office opened by the company in Austria, and its 252nd office around the globe.

Innsbruck is the centre of economy for western Austria and a major hub for hi-tech and pharmaceutical organisations. World Courier’s Country Manager for Austria, Thomas Hachmann, says: “Combined with our superior service capabilities and our new temperature-controlled facilities, we intend to strengthen the relationship with local customers and enhance our position here by offering exceptional value-added service.”

The new Innsbruck office is located around 180 kilometres (110 miles) from Munich, Germany, which is an important gateway to Europe. The facility features a full range of temperature controlled transport and storage facilities including a +5ºC walk-in refrigeration area enabling the company to handle large temperature-controlled containers of pharmaceuticals. The new office also has a +20ºC controlled ambient area and four -26ºC freezers.
